You can delete your DayHQ account and everything in it at any time. You do not need to give a reason, and nobody will try to talk you out of it.
If you still have the app installed, deleting from inside it is immediate. If you have already uninstalled it, email us and we will do it for you.
Your account is removed straight away, along with everything stored on the device. You will need a connection, because the deletion has to reach our servers — DayHQ will not tell you the account is gone while it is still there.
Email privacy@getdayhq.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will do it within 30 days, and write back to confirm.
Please send it from the account's own email address. It is the only way we can tell that the request is really coming from you.
Everything belonging to the account, permanently:
Nothing is kept as a backup for later, and none of it can be restored afterwards. Once it is gone, we cannot recover it for you even if you ask.
Deleting your DayHQ account does not cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so we cannot cancel one on your behalf — and if you leave it running you will keep being charged.
